Hey *waves hand shyly*
Good 8 months, eh?!
Wow. I mean. Where do I start? I could just go on with life, start posting with no explanation as to why this has taken me so long. But we all know I’m here to share the good and the bad, so here is a slice of real life for you, in just a few words.
I’ve been experimenting with my style a lot the past year – did you know I used to HATE wearing jeans? I was hooked on dresses and skirts and thought jeans made me look masculine, later realising I just wasn’t confident in pairing tops with bottoms, in an effortless manner. In the Fall season, the UK experiences a little roller-coaster of weather phases, once it being sunny and bearable, then extremely freezing and wet. This is one of those outfits I’d wear no matter of the weather, as it can be layered while still looking put together.
I have been living in this white off shoulder top. Since downsizing my wardrobe in June, I have started to gravitate towards a capsule wardrobe goal and have been investing in basic, clean cut, earthy-toned statement items. Fall is in full bloom, but I still dig the monochrome, minimalistic wardrobe. Check out how and why I styled it the way I did in my first ‘look of the day’ post.
Winter is in full swing, and isn’t stopping for anyone! Working in a professional office environment where a pair of joggers and a hoodie aren’t approved while having to wake up extremely early to catch our morning train can be tricky – especially when the air con isn’t working to our favour. But fear no more – here are my three favourite, quick-to-put-together outfits for those chilly days at the office.
