Hey *waves hand shyly*
Good 8 months, eh?!
Wow. I mean. Where do I start? I could just go on with life, start posting with no explanation as to why this has taken me so long. But we all know I’m here to share the good and the bad, so here is a slice of real life for you, in just a few words.
Life can get a little overwhelming at times, whether you’re an extroverted-introvert who needs time to re-charge their batteries from over-socializing, or you forget about yourself during the most exhausting weeks of never ending work and hustle. I get you, we all need to re-charge on our own – whether it’s through practicing daily habits or taking a day off to focus on ourselves only. Here are some of my favourite ways to unwind and put myself first when I need it most!
Being in a long distance relationship comes with its ups and downs, but meeting that special someone in a place you haven’t visited is a major perk almost making you love the circumstances.
Portugal was on my list since many of my Portuguese friends became family. And, as you may know, your curiosity spikes and in turn want to know more about your families’ homeland. And so, the circumstances have allowed me to spontaneously decide to explore the undiscovered and very under-rated region of the Algarve.
Recently a thought came to my mind – namely, how many benefits my work on myself brings me in everyday life. How much I’ve learned, how much I took to heart. How many things in my life have changed. How many negatives I got rid of. Why do I so rarely turn my attention to it? I focus on what is here and now, I often forget how far I’ve come, since I set my mind on health. And today is the day I share this with you. I will tell you about how much the power of habit has impacted my life and also, what it took.
Hel yeah Finland! I finally found you amongst Europe and enjoyed your beauty in full winter swing. Thank you for a great yet freezing and utterly magical time. Do you want to hear why I loved you so much?
First of all, lets realise you’re actually pretty big for the size of your population. There are only approximately five million people in an area of 330,000 km²! To add to that, there are over 180,000 lakes and over 2 million saunas in the country. Pretty impressive if you ask me, Finland! Continue reading
It’s time to endeavor out on another life’s adventure and start a new era of your life. How should you begin it and what are some things to keep in mind? Here are some tips I wish someone had told me before my time at university.
Choosing the right university for you
When it comes to choosing your home for the next three or four years, it’s important to consider the following: university and subject ranking, location, cost of living and student satisfaction. As my current uni (University of Surrey) is ranked as number one for my particular field of study, it was obvious it will land in my top five picks.
What I also paid a lot attention to however is the university accommodation and outdoors. Everybody desires to live in comfort and beautiful surroundings! The nature incorporated within the university grounds gave me space to chill out with friends and sometimes even study (I know, right!) but for the most part, it gave me a space where I could unwind and clear my mind.

My love for biking started because of my ambition to stay active throughout my time at university. As soon as I got my paycheck at the end of the month, I researched all the possibilities and bought my first ride – a Traditional Viking Belgravia ♥. It was love at first sight.
Due to my love for the design of the actual bike AND my new lifestyle, I’d like to share ten reasons you should drop your car/bus and hop on your bike TODAY!
… and yet again, enjoy the ride!
