What’s in my Food Cupboard and Fridge | Plant Based

One of the questions I always get from non-vegans is

“So… What do you eat?!”

This blog post is for you all who are curious about what are some of the things I eat on a daily basis. My food isn’t always the same, and I sometimes buy more junk than other days. Nonetheless, if you’re as nosy as I am, you’re sure to enjoy this post. Can you spot a few things you think you could swap for today?

My relationship with a plant based diet started back in my second year of uni (2015). I transitioned from being vegetarian to vegan (or, at least a very aspiring one) after watching a compilation of the controversial Freelee The Banana girl videos, in which she critiqued YouTube personalities and celebrities. Not only were they shocking, but simultaneously educating and informative. About the author:

I found Niomi through the YouTube platform about three years ago, but it was only in the last two years that I took real interest and became a true follower. There is something different about Niomi. To me, Niomi became my role model not only because of her great and light-hearted personality, but also her values and strength she portrays. Positivity and a great attitude to life is what I truly admire in people. There is something comforting about her videos, something true that I can’t necessarily point my finger on. It’s the feeling of being home (as cheesy as it sounds). It’s the comfort of not being judged by your life choices (e.g. the way we eat) but instead being slowly guided towards a life that is fulfilling and true to yourself.

Why coconut oil, is a pure coconut miracle!

I must share with you my admiration for this product, I just do. Because, the fact that coconut oil is a miracle, is not subject to any doubt. If you are wondering about whether to implement a miracle in your life, I am sure that after reading this post, you will not even think twice about it.

Coconut oil has been visiting my house for a long time – I used it much earlier, before the outbreak of the fashion for “superfood.” But – I did not use it for culinary purposes, but only for cosmetic purposes. Yes, coconut oil is associated with the culinary part, and we forget how precious and sensational it can be as a cosmetic! I will write far too much about this too, so do not worry. 😉
